Kids love the boats and the sea and it is rather different kind of holiday for them opposed to sitting on the beach and playing with the sand and the pebbles. It is exploring of the new worlds for your kids. They are also taught the responsibility and the rules, which must be obeyed on the yacht (or any other boat) at all times.

How to plan your holiday with the kids?

There is a very good piece of advice for the first sailing with your kids – rent a catamaran. There is more space on catamaran than on the yacht, but based on our experience with our regular clients, they tend to rent a yacht anyway.

We can provide you with the following:

• The belts for securing the kids in case of the big waves (not to fall overboard)
• Life jackets – we just need to know the age and weight of the kids onboard
• Safety net on the side of the yacht without any additional payment

The rules for the safe and successful holiday:

• Make your kids aware of the security rules before the holiday
• Life jackets are a must when going on a yacht with your kids
• The kids shouldn´t move about alone and unattended when on a yacht
• 1 rule – Captain is the boss and his/her words are holly 😊

What to take on the yacht for your kids and their entertainment ?

• Inflatable air mat
• Snorkelling Equipment
• Something for keeping their attention throughout the sailing (colouring books, favourite books or toys)

It is important to know in advance what distances you would like to sail with your kids per day. The best option is to set the distances for up to 2 hours. Consequently anchoring and going to the beach on the inflatable boat, which is the part of the yacht. After the rest it is recommended to sail for another 2 hours to reach the port, where you´ll spend the night.

Behind this island, there is just the open sea and if you want to go further, you´ll reach Italy. Biševo is typical for its beautiful Croatian nature with just few inhabitants, who will catch the fish or the sea food for you with pleasure. The island doesn´t have the hotels or the apartments, so the only option is to sleep on the yacht. There is a cave called „Modra špila“ on the other side of the island. The tourists visit the cave throughout the day, but it shows its beauty early in the morning, when no one is there.

STINIVA, Vis

Vis island is hiding the marvellous beach with the fine gravel in the small Stiniva bay. This beach belongs to the most beautiful beaches in Europe and is suitable for everybody – the families with kids as well as the partners spending the romantic moments together.

The beach is accessible from the sea. You can anchor straight in the bay and use a motorboat to reach the beach.

MALI BOK, Cres

Cres Island is a typical exotic island, where you can find many bays surrounded by the big rocks. There are fine gravel beaches pleasant to your feet and the beautiful azure sea. You won´t see the fast food stands or restaurants here, just the beautiful intact nature. The best time to visit Mali Bok is early in the morning, because most of the tourists tend to come here in the afternoon.

Pag island is known as a tourist island, which is full of clubs and restaurants, but on the south side of the island, there is a bay with azure sea called Beritnica. You can find caves and rock walls for the climbers there.

Dugi Otok has the tag of „the most beautiful in Adriatic“. Inside of the island, there is a salt lake called Mir. The lake is salty because of the fact that it is connected with the sea through the underground cracks. It is a unique gem located in Croatia, which is worth exploring.

Sailboat

These type is similar to the sailboat with one small change. These type consits of 2 hulls connected with a lounge room. Catamarans are usually chartered in shallow waters because they are light. It is a quiet holiday you can turn off the engine at any time and listen to the sea. You can choose catamarans for 12 people on a board (depends on experience and financial budget).

If you do not have any experience we recommend you to get services of a captain. Captain will be full responsible for a boat and all you can think of is your holiday.

Motor ship

Are you a speed person that loves engines? Motor ships allows you to go as fast as in a sport car and also is very convienent when you need to be somewhere really fast.  Motor ships are for 12 people on board (again depends on experience and financial budget). Also you can get a captain for a motor ship too.

What am I paying when chartering sailboat, catamaran or a motor ship?

The Price includes:

• Charter of a boat
  • depends on a size, age and the crew
  • starting from 999 EUR for one week including 4 people (depends on destination, charter company, time of a year and a size of a boat.)
• Transit log
  • you should always leave the boat nice and clean same as in a hotel when you check out. Also we need to check the boat from the inside and outside for any damage
• Re-fuelling the boat
  • each boat is chartered with fill up tank and has to return like that – it is very similar as when you fuel your car or a scooter during your holiday.
• Community charge
• Parking at the docks
  • Depends on a popularity a of place, no fee for anchoring

What If I do not own a boat license? Is it possible for me to drive a boat?

Are going on a boat for a first time and you would like to experience if it is a right fit for you ? There is an option that you can find your own captain with a boat licence if you know anybody or a charter company will find one for you. The prices goes from 100 EUR/ day and higher.

What If I really liked the Vacation and want keep coming in the future?

You can contact us and we will provide you a boat licence which starts from 250 EUR and you can start to drive a boat by yourself.
